Relocation To Northern Ireland
One of our specialist services is moving families to a completely different area, or in fact country entirely. We have many years of experience in dealing with the necessary logistics and problem solving required. In January 2022 we beat 2 other removal companies price wise to win the job of moving a family from Salisbury in Wiltshire across to Downpatrick, which is in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This task involves obtaining customs clearance for the items being moved. 1st Choice Removals have used TR Logistics Group for years in this regard and Caroline there was very helpful again as usual.
Our friendly team arrived on site in Salisbury early on the Wednesday morning and by lunchtime everything was carefully wrapped and packed for the 6 hour journey up to Birkenhead near Liverpool where the 10.30 pm ferry was departing to Northern Ireland. Once aboard the ferry our team are assigned a cabin to sleep in and are also provided with evening meal and breakfast. The ferry duly arrived at 7am in the morning and once back on dry land proceeded to the delivery address in Downpatrick. Then began the process of unloading the families possessions and placing them where requested. Having successfully completed this by 11am our team headed back to the port for the 22.30 pm ferry back across to England.
The next day the team arrived back at base at around 1:30pm with the job all completed. As is often the case our clients feedback was that the service and professionalism they received was first class.
