Canford Cliffs Home Move
Recently we completed a move for a couple who were looking to move within Bournemouth but to change their area. Their current base was at Canford Cliffs. However, they want to move to Branksome Chine.
They had quite a lot of things to move from their ground floor flat into a 2nd floor flat, which can prove somewhat of a tricky move to make. However, as experts in various domestic removal types, we were ready to do whatever we needed to do.
Moving Precious and Valuable Items
We arrived at the Canford Cliffs property at 8 am on a moving day, ready to load up the belongings that were set to be moved. Whilst many of the things that had to be moved were what you could call “standard moving items”, this move also had some items that required some special treatment and care.
This included glass tables, special artwork and also a grandfather clock. We also had to plan for a dismantle, move and reassembly of bunk beds too.
Thanks to our early start, our trucks were loaded by midday, and then they were all unloaded and everything delivered to the new home by 4 pm. As you can see, this was a move that we worked incredibly hard on.
Protecting the properties throughout the move
Due to the nature of the move and the fact that it was going to be between two flats, we knew that we needed to make the most of any protective equipment that we had. This was not only to protect the interior of the new flat but also to protect any communal areas in both the new and the old flat.
